What happened to LOVE?

Any excess is dangerous!

Some time ago I start to think about the excesses and it is common to assert with mathematical certainty that the "excess commits evils" when referring to food, drinking alcohol, among many other evils. However one of the excesses that we do not have the courage to admit is that related to "religion", you know in today's world we have seen many absurdities being committed in the "name of God", or whatever name you want to assign, you doubt?

Explosion of suicide bombers in the Middle East, killing of Christians in the east, attacks, racial, religious and sexual discrimination by rejecting world, when I refer to the host of gay rights.

You know I start to think that the message of the Gospel is love! Jesus commanded us to love one another, I think that regardless of any belief, dogma or biblical certainty we have in relation to salvation, principles of faith, justification and forgiveness of sins, they all pass through the respect and love of neighbor. I worry a lot when hate speech is stronger than that of love.

I understand that the church has and accept that should remain after all that salt would not be to "preserve and flavor" yet hate speech, intolerance, confrontation has been the motivator of something called "Good News," because we love beating up, because if we confront propagate, it is not our responsibility for "conversion" is the role of the Holy Spirit conviction of "sin and judgment" (John 16:5-11), our , yes this, ours is the spread, advertise, witnessing the Good News that a boy is born, a Son is given and His Name is Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace and that He came to bring light those who were in thick darkness (Isaiah 9 and Matthew 4:16).

In his earthly passage Jesus never disrespected, assaulted or confronted anyone, God does not need lawyers to defend him! God needs witnesses who disclose their kindness and love with which he loved us, giving what is most precious possessed, JESUS, simply because we LOVE, but he loves us, because they wanted us to love.

Have you tried to put into practice the LOVE? If not I invite you to practice it.
